The Edinboro National Print Competition is a juried exhibition whose aim is to spotlight contemporary artists working with Traditional printmaking practices. This exhibition is a re-mounting of a biennial competition hosted in the past at Edinboro University.
The Exhibition will take place in the Bruce Gallery of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in Doucette Hall. Juror: Karen Kunc, Willa Cather Professor and Professor of Art University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Founder of Constellation Studios, Lincoln Nebraska, http://constellation-studios.net/ Karen Kunc has been a force in the world of print-making for over thirty years. Her work is included in close to two hundred public and corporate collections. Her artwork is represented by eleven galleries and has been featured in forty-seven publications. Her writing has been included in twenty-one publications.
Various product prizes will be awarded for merit at the jurors discretion and are being supplied by Speedball, Canson Fine Art Papers, and the Flexcut Tool Company.
Artists must submit 1-3 digital images of work. File format must be JPEG, with the files named lastname_firstname_imagenumber. Ex: doe_john_1.jpg. Images should be 72dpi with the longest dimension being no larger than 1000 pixels.
Artists may submit one to three prints. Prints must utilize at least one of the following print media: intaglio, lithography, monotype, relief, screen printing. Prints can combine print media with other art forms.
$20 entry fee is due at time of submission.

Juror’s decisions are final.
Accepted work must be framed using plexiglass (not glass) and ready to hang (with hardware and wire) for exhibition.
Shipping crates must be re-usable and within UPS/Fedex shipping limitations. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the artist. Please include a return shipping label with your package.
All work is insured while at Bruce Gallery. Edinboro University and its employees cannot assume liability for loss or damage during shipping. All work will be re-packed in the manner received for return shipping back to artists.
