Eligible entries include original pulled prints, digital prints, photographs, and 3-dimensional works including book arts, with print components that are 100 square inches or less and a frame size of 256 square inches or less. 3D works are limited to 250 cubic inches.

Winning pieces will be selected by the competition juror and will be on exhibit August 2 thru 26, 2018. The grand-prize winner will be given a solo exhibit in 2019. Other prizes will be awarded.
Reception and Awards Presentation: 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at WPG on Aug. 18.
Grand Prize: Solo exhibition at the Washington Printmakers Gallery in Georgetown, sponsored by the Washington Print Foundation.
2nd Prize: $250 Gift Certificate from Speedball Art Products.
3rd Prize: Solarplate Award gifted by Dan Welden
4th Prize: Gift Certificate from Renaissance Graphic Arts.
5th Prize: Plaza Art Materials Gift
Juror’s Award for Best Screen Print: $250 cash award
Artists may submit up to four (4) entries for a non-refundable entry fee of $35. Only one artwork from each applicant will be chosen for exhibit; that is, no entrant will have more than one piece selected and put on display.
This exhibition is open to any artist 18 years of age or older residing in the United States of America except members of the Washington Printmakers Gallery and the Washington Printmakers Foundation. Submitted works must be:
Hand-pulled prints, screen prints, digital prints, photographs, and three-dimensional work with print components.
Original, editioned, and archivally printed and framed. (We accept editions of one, that is, 1/1, of monoprints, etc.)
Completed within the past two years.
Image may be NO LARGER THAN 100 square inches.
Frame may be NO LARGER THAN 256 square inches.
Three dimensional work may be no more than 250 cubic inches needing no frame.
