The 37th Annual National Print Exhibition is a juried exhibition showcasing some of the best hand-pulled prints from around the nation.
Eligibility: All artists, at least 18 years of age, residing in the United States are eligible. Submissions must be original works on paper, created within the last two years, including but not limited to; digital, intaglio, lithography, relief, serigraphy and monoprints. Artwork exhibited at Artlink previously, reproductions of pre-existing works, or work larger than 54” x 54” will not be considered.
Juror: Patrick Flaherty, President & Executive Director of the Indianapolis Art Center
Patrick Flaherty is a member of the Indianapolis-based 67th St. Printmakers and routinely participates in their group exhibitions. In September of 2014 Flaherty was named the President & Executive Director of the Indianapolis Art Center. He has held many positions at the Indianapolis Art Center including Teaching Artist, Gallery & Studio Technician, Exhibitions Associate, Printmaking Studio Chair, Director of Exhibitions & Artist Services and the Director of the Broad Ripple Art Fair. Flaherty graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in 2002 and a Master of Arts in Printmaking in 2003.
Flaherty serves on the board of directors of The Optimist Club of Northside Indianapolis, Inc. and Primary Colours. Two Indianapolis based all-volunteer non-profits respectively dedicated to serving local youth and facilitating interaction between visual artists and the community.
Awards: Artlink will offer cash awards totaling $2,500.
Entry Fee: There is an entry fee of $10 per entry, with an unlimited number of submissions.
Entry Procedure: Mail or email the completed entry form to Artlink. Entries must be received on or before February 3rd, 2017. Submission images must be emailed to christina@artlinkfw.com. CD’s will NOT be accepted. Payment for entries can be made via our website, or by checks made payable to Artlink. Entries received after February 3rd, 2017 will not be accepted. Jury notifications will be emailed on February 24th, 2017.
Images and Catalog: Each artist may submit prints, represented in a digital format (jpeg preferred) with a resolution of a minimum of 300 dpi at 4 x 5 inches or 1200 x 1500 pixels. The digital files must be print quality as all works selected for the exhibition will be reproduced in a full-color catalog. By entering this exhibition each artist grants consent for the use of submitted images for reproduction in the catalog, for publicity and for educational purposes. All files should be sent as attachments. Rename the images with your last name and entry number, to match the entry form, for example: Smith1.jpg. Artlink reserves the right to reject work that differs significantly from submitted images.

Delivery and Pick Up: Artwork should be hand delivered during gallery hours to Artlink, 300 E Main Street, Fort Wayne IN 46802 by February 3, 2017. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. If artists are unable to hand deliver work, it must be shipped in re-usable packaging with pre-paid return shipping, no exceptions. Styrofoam peanuts will not be accepted. Work not claimed after 30 days becomes the property of Artlink.
Presentation:
All 2D work must be framed and WIRED FOR HANGING. Saw-tooth hangers will NOT be accepted.
All conventionally framed artwork must use Plexiglas, except for hand-delivered work less than 24” x 30”.

Identification labels with artist name and title should be attached to the back of the work.
Sales: A 35% commission will be charged on all works sold, including additional unframed prints. Artists should include insurance values on works not for sale. Artists should also include the price and number of additional unframed prints available for sale.
Liability: The artwork will be insured while on exhibit at Artlink. Artlink is not liable for damage or loss in transit to the gallery. Any damage caused by improper preparations by the artist will not be covered by Artlink.
Agreement to Participate: Submitting the entry form constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant to all conditions stated above. Artwork accepted into the exhibition must remain on display throughout the course of the entire exhibition and may not be committed to another gallery during that time.
