Assistant Professor of Printmaking, Eastern Connecticut State University
Eastern Connecticut State University, the state’s public liberal arts university serving approximately 5400 students, offers a wide range of undergraduate majors in the arts and sciences and professional studies, as well as selected graduate programs. Position: Assistant Professor – Printmaking, Tenure Track
Position Description: The successful candidate will teach Printmaking courses at all levels as well as related media such as papermaking and bookmaking and courses in the liberal arts core, and will demonstrate a commitment to participation in curricular initiatives, strategic planning, departmental service and development, student advisement, and faculty governance of the University.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates should have a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Printmaking with an emphasis on relief, silkscreen, lithography and etching with some knowledge of bookmaking, papermaking and encaustics, and current or recent college-level teaching experience. Applicants should demonstrate an active exhibition record and accomplishments as a professional printmaker.
