The Columbia College Chicago Center for Book, Paper & Print is offering one two-week residency in the summer of 2016. The residency is intended to provide time, facilities and assistance for specific projects. We are seeking emerging and mid-career artists who are experienced book artists, letterpress printers, printmakers, and/or papermakers. The artist will receive studio space; assistance from a graduate student familiar with our studios; access to the CBPP studios; and living accommodations. Two copies of the artist’s editioned project must be donated to the CBPP archive. We welcome proposals for projects in book, paper, and/or print. The artist(s) must furnish their own supplies, ie., paper, plates, etc. The residency is not open to currently enrolled students.
