PCNJ is proud to announce its Open Juried
“Northeast Regional Collegiate Print Exhibit”
Showcasing the original, recent works on paper of college students and recent graduates of our Northeast Region of the US. We encourage each entrant to submit up to 3 works of art that express ideas of who you are now and where you are going. Each artist is on a unique path of development and expression, and we want to showcase yours.
Exhibit Dates: Selected works on paper will be on exhibition in our Main Gallery April 3 – April 21, 2017.

About our Juror: Eileen Foti, has been the Visiting Master Printer at PCNJ since 1990, was the Master Printer of the Brodsky Center for Innovative Editions at Rutgers University and the Interim Education Director at Tamarind Institute. She was an Assistant Professor at Montclair State University and currently teaches at the William Paterson University.
Eligibility & Media: Original work is accepted in all printmaking mediums, including, but not limited to, papermaking, photography and book arts. Artists may submit work that has been created partially or completely with digital methods, as long as the image is original and NOT a digital reproduction of an image that already exists in another medium. Entrants must be currently enrolled or a (2 year) recent graduate of a regional college, university or art school. Entrants must also submit a short bio or artist statement related to work submitted.
Entry Specifications & Fees: Artists may submit up to 3 works of art and a $15 artist’s submission fee to EntryThingy on or before the deadline of March 1, 2017.
Accepted Work: Entrants will be notified on March 10, 2017 of acceptance of work. All 2-D work must be framed and ready to hang using hooks and wires. All 3-D works and books must include display instructions
Prizes: All accepted entrants will receive one full year free membership to the Printmaking Center of New Jersey. One “Best of Show” award will be granted. The recipient will collaborate on the design and editioning of PCNJ’s 2018 Presentation Print, to be presented to our annual donors and archived in PCNJ’s Permanent Art Collection. Collaboration will be between a PCNJ Printmaker Member and the Best of Show recipient.
Publicity & Sales: The Printmaking Center of NJ reserves the right to photograph and reproduce accepted work for the purposes of publicity and documentation. The price of your work should include a commission for PCNJ of 35%.
Liability and Insurance: Artwork will be handled with care. PCNJ will insure accepted work for 65% of the selling price while in its custody for the period of the exhibitions. No coverage exists for work in transit or work left at the Gallery beyond the closing of the exhibition date.
