One-year Full Time Position in Painting and Drawing
The Studio Art Program of the Department of Art invites applications for a one-year term position in painting and drawing at the rank of Professorial Lecturer or Instructor. The position is a nine-month term appointment commencing on August 28, 2017. Applicants should have an MFA or equivalent terminal degree with a specialization in painting and drawing and an active exhibition record. Two years of teaching experience beyond T.A. level is preferred.
Teaching responsibilities for this position will include three courses per semester, typically two introductory and one advanced course at the undergraduate level, in both painting and drawing. Participation in graduate and undergraduate final critiques is expected, as is service to the program through student advising and internal committee appointments.
