Program Manager, Arts Initiative at Columbia University
The Arts Initiative at Columbia University is dedicated to making the arts a meaningful part of every Columbian’s experience. Our diverse programs encourage students, faculty, and staff to experience the creative life of the campus, engage the cultural riches of New York City and the wider world, and create arts and performance. Under the auspices of the Arts Initiative, Columbians attend cultural events across New York City, benefit from ticket discounts and subsidies, and connect with each other through our vibrant arts programming.
We seek a creative, enthusiastic arts administrator to join our team, with a focus on box office and program administration. This is a temporary, full-time position that ends on May 18, 2018. A commitment to the Arts Initiative’s mission and goals is essential. Must be highly organized, motivated, flexible, and able to balance multiple competing demands. Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent and two years of related professional experience are required. Box office experience is strongly preferred, as is experience in the arts and/or higher education.
