The NASAD accredited Department of Art + Design of West Chester University invites applications for the full-time, tenure track position of Assistant Professor of Printmaking and Drawing to teach undergraduate level courses in our Studio Art and Graphic and Interactive Design programs.
We seek a candidate with expertise in a wide range of Printmaking methods, both traditional and contemporary, and the ability to maintain and improve our printshop. Successful candidates will also have expertise with Drawing and other 2D mediums and demonstrated exhibition experience and engagement in the art community.
The position requires a strong commitment to teaching and interest in curriculum development. Teaching responsibilities include Printmaking and Drawing courses at all levels in the Studio Art and Graphic and Interactive Design programs. All faculty members are expected to teach three undergraduate courses per semester, advise majors, maintain professional and creative scholarly development, and participate in university and department committee activities.
