VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF PRINTMAKING AND FOUNDATIONS DRAWING
Purdue University. Non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor in Printmaking and Foundations Drawing. $56K per academic year. Position eligible for health benefits. Two-year contract with possibility of third. Start Date, August 14, 2017. MFA in Printmaking required. Teach up to four classes per semester in Printmaking (Relief, Etching and Intaglio, Lithography, Screenprint, and Digital Media), and Foundations Drawing. Serve as Foundation Drawing Coordinator. Responsibilities include supervising the Graduate Teaching Assistants in the foundations drawing area by teaching the Graduate Teaching Assistant Practicum course each semester. The position also requires overseeing the printmaking studio, with an expertise in printmaking studio equipment maintenance, compliance with health and safety practices, and handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
