This demonstration will explore hand drawn processes accessible for anyone with limited equipment, time, and funding. Virginia Sitzes will show three different techniques using the screenprinting process to create monotype prints that contain hand drawn and painterly properties. We will explore the effects of watercolors, markers, and graphite as they apply to screenprinting, and investigate how this process can be DIY, cheap, and totally do-able anywhere. These methods allow the printer to create playful, loose prints with whatever resources they have available.
