Outstanding Printmaker Keynote Lecture Announced!: Swoon
The Confluence 2027 program will bring together keynotes, panels, INKubators, demonstrations, portfolio exchanges, exhibitions, events, and gatherings across Pittsburgh. As the conference schedule develops, this page will become the central place to find session times, speakers, event details, and daily programming. Additional information will be added following the open call for proposals and continued planning with conference partners and venues.

SWOON
We are thrilled to welcome Swoon as the Confluence 2027 keynote Outstanding Printmaker.
Caledonia Curry, known as Swoon, is an artist whose expansive practice moves throughout printmaking, public art, installation, social practice, and community-based projects. Through intimate portraits, large-scale relief prints, intricate papercuts, and immersive environments, Swoon has helped expand how the printed image can circulate through public space and everyday life.
Her work resonates deeply with the Confluence 2027 theme, which brings together process, labor, place, and community. Swoon’s practice reminds us that print can be both deeply personal and profoundly public.
