Come take a trip with us! SGCI is embracing our new biennial conference schedule and offering our members new ways to satisfy the itch to travel among their print peers from around the world.
Printmaking in Chiang Mai, Thailand!
May 31st- June 6th, 2026
Chiang Mai is a city rich in culture, home to over 300 Buddhist temples, famous cuisine, and more than a dozen print studios producing world-class artwork. Hello Print Friend Studio and SGCI are thrilled to offer you the opportunity to experience it all through our immersive printmaking tours. Limited to 20 participants, these intimate excursions are a unique opportunity to expand your artistic practice.

Print Adventure in Catalonia!
Excursion and residency at Art Print Residence
Join us for an inspiring 12-day printmaking residency where art, culture, and the Mediterranean
lifestyle come together. Spend nine intensive studio days (9 am – 5 pm) at Art Print Residence, a
renowned printmaking studio nestled in the hills above the Catalan coast — just one hour from
Barcelona.
This program offers personalized training and mentorship in copper plate etching, with a focus on
sustainable printmaking techniques. Whether you’re developing new work or refining your process,
you’ll receive individual guidance from the Art Print Residence team to help you achieve
professional results.
Collaborate, exchange ideas, and create alongside fellow artists in an atmosphere designed for
learning and creative growth.
Participants will create a pair of prints to be exhibited at Taller Galeria Fort, held in parallel with the
46th Miniprint Internacional de Cadaqués. Artists will also have the opportunity to attend the
opening on August 8.

Art Print Residence is an international printmaking center founded by artists Jordi Rosés, Clàudia Lloret, and Ariadna Abadal, located in Arenys de Munt near Barcelona.
Its tranquil Mediterranean setting and fully equipped studio provide an ideal environment for creation, experimentation, and professional artistic development.
